The Plate Finder app helps you find nearby restaurants that are serving "plates".
A "plate" is a generic term for the Rochester, NY original delicacy known as a "Garbage Plate" that was created by Nick Tahou Hots of Rochester, NY.
A plate is disorganized combination of food that usually consists of either hamburgers or hotdogs, home fries, and macaroni salad.
Other condiments such as onions, ketchup, and mustard are often added, and it is then topped off with a meaty hot sauce.
